In 2009, over 75,000 people attended 347 events at 52 venues across the city making the Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival the largest event of its kind in Europe. We're working towards making 2010 bigger and better than ever
the UK's largest comedy festival.

This fantastic event, which takes place over 18 days in March, is now in its eighth year and attracts the best comedians from the UK and abroad. - the likes of French and Saunders, Joan Rivers, Jimmy Carr, Ross Noble and Frankie Boyle have all performed at the festival. 2009 was the biggest festival yet, with 75,000 tickets sold for 347 shows taking place over 18 days in 51 venues across the city, and 2010 is going to be even better.
