Recently attended one of the hotel’s “murder mystery” evenings to celebrate my hen do. Were not disappointed! The staff could not possibly have been more friendly or attentive to myself and my guests. Every effort for us to enjoy our evening was made. Excellent customer service took away any stress of planning such an event. The entertainment was fantastic! In such a cosy hotel, wonderful atmosphere. It really was everything I could have hoped for, our party did not stop laughing throughout and we all had such a brilliant time. The food was delicious. Some of our party had allergies and dietary requirements which again, the hotel fully catered for. This is greatly appreciated! Anyone looking to enjoy a murder mystery event should definitely visit, excellent value for money and will recommend highly. Stayed August 2014, travelled with friends
Great assistance from the receptionist!
“great overnight stay”Reviewed 27 August 2013
My husband & I stayed overnight here as we were going to see The Who in the SECC for our wedding anniversary, when we arrived at hotel, we were given a warm welcome and given a room with a four poster bed,the room was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style, everything you could want from a good auld Scottish breakfast. We could not fault this hotel or staff in any way, and we will definately stay here again
I greatly appreciated you printing out our airline boarding passes for free. I also appreciated the taxi telephone for easily getting a taxi to the airport.
“Great location, Delicious full vegan breakfast”Reviewed 14 January 2013
We picked this hotel originally because they offer a full vegan scottish breakfast, and ended up liking everything about the hotel! When you book your room, there is a place to request the vegan breakfast–it comes with everything including porridge with soya milk, potato scones, tomatoes, mushrooms, vegan sausages, toast, etc. The room was really cozy, with tea and biscuits refilled every day. The West End location is terrific, practically across the street from the Kelvingrove. It is on the main road but is not loud or noisy and it’s a relatively quick, easy walk right downtown. There is also a lot to do right nearby–their bar at the hotel is lovely and the Snaffle Bit is a pub next door that was really nice and friendly and if you enjoy vegan food, The 78 is basically around the corner. Everyone on staff is super friendly and helpful. There is also a bus stop right out front if you prefer to take transportation instead of walking. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, not far from the SECC or shopping centre, and friendly staff.

The staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was really good. The hotel is really useful for the SECC. That was the purpose we used it for, and would certainly use the hotel again.
The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and have everything you need for a few days’ stay at a hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers. Many restaurants can be found nearby, while the hotel is close to the university of Glasgow.
Rated: Outstanding Breakfast staff was very warm and attentive.
