Argyll Hotel in Glasgow
– Testimonials –
I would like to praise the blonde lady who served me breakfast on 20/11/13.She was most friendly and helpful and the breakfast she provided was excellent and was served by her in a very efficient and courteous manner. I felt she really cared about all the guests and this made a massive difference!. This lady is a brilliant ambassador for the Hotel and I was not surprised to learn from her that a lot of guests return regularly. A lot will do so because of her.
A very pleasant interlude with our travels – was marvellous to have enough tea/coffee for evening and morning. When bedroom door got locked by accident, they worked it out quickly. Can definitely recommend the night porter – very helpful with the issue.
We love your comfortable and relaxed hotel. Staff very friendly and happy to help. Val and Linda in the restaurant – excellent, receptionist on Tuesday morning – excellent too.
Very pleasant stay – would recommend to friends staying overnight in Glasgow.

My overnight stay was very satisfying and would recommend highly.I can definitely praise Patricia, Bobby and Laurie in the bar.
Reception staff is fantastic. Excellent service by staff at breakfast. Always the same excellent service. Sensitive to individual dietary needs. Goes an extra mile to give the best.
Came to Glasgow to watch “The Killers” at Bellahouston park . Three ladies staying for two nights . We didn’t want right in the city centre and this hotel ( a shyer taxi ride away ) suited our needs . On arrival check in was fine , no car park space , parked just round the corner and so not a problem . The hotel is next to a pub but it wasn’t noisy at all . Our room on the second floor was ENORMOUS !!!! Two single beds and a double …. Decor lovely traditional Scottish tartan ( royal Stewart with a wall plaque to explain ) . Bathroom new and modern . Only gripe about room was not enough coat hangers for three/ four people ( as the room is meant for ) . Breakfast was lovely , plenty of choice whether you wanted light continental style or full English ( yes still called that in Scotland) . Staff were pleasant and attentive . The carpets on the stairs were a bit worn and tired looking but everything else was fine . Lots of restaurants and bars on the streets behind the hotel . We ate at several and were not disappointed . Taxi to Bellahouston park ( which was about 20mins away ) was only £6 . We three thoroughly enjoyed our mini break and would stay here again .
