I had a nice stay in your hotel and the staff was very helpful. I was in room 311. I had a great dinner at Bukharah, an Indian restaurant only 2 minutes walk from the hotel on Sauchiehall Street.
“Great location, Delicious full vegan breakfast”Reviewed 14 January 2013
We picked this hotel originally because they offer a full vegan scottish breakfast, and ended up liking everything about the hotel! When you book your room, there is a place to request the vegan breakfast–it comes with everything including porridge with soya milk, potato scones, tomatoes, mushrooms, vegan sausages, toast, etc. The room was really cozy, with tea and biscuits refilled every day. The West End location is terrific, practically across the street from the Kelvingrove. It is on the main road but is not loud or noisy and it’s a relatively quick, easy walk right downtown. There is also a lot to do right nearby–their bar at the hotel is lovely and the Snaffle Bit is a pub next door that was really nice and friendly and if you enjoy vegan food, The 78 is basically around the corner. Everyone on staff is super friendly and helpful. There is also a bus stop right out front if you prefer to take transportation instead of walking. We would definitely stay here again.
- Stayed December 2012, travelled as a couple
The receptionist made our stay very memorable.
Breakfast was outstanding, had a lovely large family room. Linda was very helpful on our arrival and at breakfast time. Thank you!
The receptionist was very attentive, we had a nice clean bathroom and bed area. We particularly liked the tartan and the blue décor. The breakfast was very tasty and the table service was excellent. Overall very good clean accommodation with an excellent restaurant.
Lovely to see nice fresh a new en-suite and a freshly decorated bedroom. Breakfast was lovely.
Outstanding, friendly staff… made us feel extra welcome.
The location was spot on for the SECC hydro, no more than 10 minutes walk to both venues and central to the city.
“Amazing Staff, brilliant breakfast, comfortable room”Reviewed 25 September 2013
This little hotel is great and the staff make it so… my room was on the dreaded 4th floor but it was very pleasent bed was comfortable and my partner and I had everything we needed in the room we paid £50 for the night including breakfast so I feel we got a lot more for our money, yes the room was abit dated but if you want a tartan room or mordern bathroom then I guess you need to pay for it… breaking news everyone i hear the hotel is renovating rooms! Maybe the budget rooms will be next. Over all great night stay would defiantly stay here again.
Good value for money with a good location for walking into town.
