Lovely hotel, total privacy. Would highly recommend. Relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff. Dining room staff was amazing.
Nice hotel, not far from the SECC or shopping centre, and friendly staff.
“Great value for money”Reviewed 17 February 2013
Needed a fairly last minute room for an interview at Glasgow Medical School. Booked online and wasn’t disappointed, especially considering the price. Comfortable, well equipped room plus a really fantastic breakfast for less than you pay for a travelodge. Plus the staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Argyll Hotel because we were going to a concert at the Clyde Auditorium. It ticked all the boxes being 10/15mins walk from the venue with loads of places to have an early evening meal and a lovely wine bar to have a drink on the way home. I have to say that for an hotel in the middle of a city it really was excellent value and we would definitely use it again
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and staff very attentive.
…Staff pleasant our experience was excellent would definitely go back and even recommend to friends…
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cosy. The breakfast was very good and the waiting staff very friendly. Had a lovely bar meal last night and enjoyed the pear cider. I will hopefully be back soon!
The staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was really good. The hotel is really useful for the SECC. That was the purpose we used it for, and would certainly use the hotel again.
Would come and stay again. Very nice all round. Love the tartan! Thanks.
“Amazing Staff, brilliant breakfast, comfortable room”Reviewed 25 September 2013
This little hotel is great and the staff make it so… my room was on the dreaded 4th floor but it was very pleasent bed was comfortable and my partner and I had everything we needed in the room we paid £50 for the night including breakfast so I feel we got a lot more for our money, yes the room was abit dated but if you want a tartan room or mordern bathroom then I guess you need to pay for it… breaking news everyone i hear the hotel is renovating rooms! Maybe the budget rooms will be next. Over all great night stay would defiantly stay here again.
