“Murder mystery dinner evening…….fabulous night!”Reviewed 6 March 2013
Booked a murder mystery dinner night for my husbands 30th and it was brilliant!wasnt really sure what to expect but the night was well organised, the food tasty and the staff very pleasant. The hotel is nice inside and for our size of party(20) the room was a perfect size. We would definitely go back again and would highly recommend it. It didn’t go on late maybe about half ten so you could go out after but we just stayed on for a few drinks. The price was £45 a head which was brilliant. They order the food in so its not restaurant freshness but it was still very nice and great sized portions. If in doubt try it out!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the 26th and the 27th of May. It was superbly located near the S.E.C.C. which was our reason for being in Glasgow. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an enjoyable weekend. See you soon!
I love the authenticity of your hotel. It gives travellers a special experience of Scotland.
“Great location, Delicious full vegan breakfast”Reviewed 14 January 2013
We picked this hotel originally because they offer a full vegan scottish breakfast, and ended up liking everything about the hotel! When you book your room, there is a place to request the vegan breakfast–it comes with everything including porridge with soya milk, potato scones, tomatoes, mushrooms, vegan sausages, toast, etc. The room was really cozy, with tea and biscuits refilled every day. The West End location is terrific, practically across the street from the Kelvingrove. It is on the main road but is not loud or noisy and it’s a relatively quick, easy walk right downtown. There is also a lot to do right nearby–their bar at the hotel is lovely and the Snaffle Bit is a pub next door that was really nice and friendly and if you enjoy vegan food, The 78 is basically around the corner. Everyone on staff is super friendly and helpful. There is also a bus stop right out front if you prefer to take transportation instead of walking. We would definitely stay here again.

A quiet friendly hotel on the doorstep of Glasgow city centre. The Argyll really is a home away from home, perfectly suited to tourists and business users alike. The rates are very competitive. The restaurant punches well beyond its weight with regards to the quality and flavour of the food it offers. Overall, a gem of a hotel and highly recommended. This hotel located in Sauchiehall street is a 5 minute walk to Yorkhill hospital or a £4 taxi to City Centre. SECC and Kelvingrove all within easy walking distance.
A very cosy room, quiet and contains everything we need. A very kind waitress at breakfast.
First class cleanliness.
This is a VERY NICE Hotel, would definitely stay again and it is not far to go for plenty of things to do night and day.
