“Amazing Staff, brilliant breakfast, comfortable room”Reviewed 25 September 2013
This little hotel is great and the staff make it so… my room was on the dreaded 4th floor but it was very pleasent bed was comfortable and my partner and I had everything we needed in the room we paid £50 for the night including breakfast so I feel we got a lot more for our money, yes the room was abit dated but if you want a tartan room or mordern bathroom then I guess you need to pay for it… breaking news everyone i hear the hotel is renovating rooms! Maybe the budget rooms will be next. Over all great night stay would defiantly stay here again.
Rated: Outstanding/Excellent Really friendly staff
“Excellent Value!”Reviewed 3 March 2013 via mobile
Stopped here for 2 nights as friends stopping here for a couple of weeks! Hotel was centrally located to reach everywhere we had to get to! Got a great rate for a twin room with breakfast! Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices! Staff very attentive!

Rated: Excellent Special thanks to Linda from the breakfast staff and Aeneas in reception for going the extra mile and making my stay memorable.
All staff encountered were polite and friendly. Good location.
Lovely to see nice fresh a new en-suite and a freshly decorated bedroom. Breakfast was lovely.
Breakfast very nice with good selection. Hotel obviously an old building but tartan decor and historical pictures gave character. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent location close to centre of towm and Kelvingrove Museum etc. On a busy road but very quiet inside. Free phone to contact taxi firm. Great atmosphere for those keen on Scottish clan history, tartans etc.
The location was spot on for the SECC hydro, no more than 10 minutes walk to both venues and central to the city.
