All the Staff were lovely , the room was immaculate , and food was brilliant , we liked everything about this Hotel and will definately be back
The Argyll is not a fancy hotel, but it is very comfortable and clean and the price is quite reasonable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, were happy to give us directions and to store our bags for the day after we checked out. The location is absolutely perfect for spending the day in the beautiful Kelvingrove Park and the museums there and at Glasgow University.
I would like to recommend the staff at breakfast and reception as fantastic. Sensitive about food to meet different religious or dietary requirements.
TV didn’t have a signal, reception staff corrected the set promptly, efficiently and in a manner – very impressive.
The location was spot on for the SECC hydro, no more than 10 minutes walk to both venues and central to the city.
Liked the city map provided at the reception! The staff offered wifi connection without my needing to ask.
Although perhaps a bit elderly, the Argyll gives excellent service and comfort. Ideally placed close to the centre of Glasgow, it offers a comfortable stay at very reasonable prices.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was cozy and the staff friendly. We requested vegan breakfast and were delighted with the excellent food we were provided–they even checked the ingredients on the potato scones and veg sausages to make sure they were vegan for us. The vegan full scottish was delicious! We really appreciate how accommodating everyone was to us This hotel is located at the West End Sauchiehall area and it is a terrific spot to check out this side of town. The Kelvingrove is just a minute or two walk away and there are lots of cozy, inviting pubs and restaurants all around the area.
A very enjoyable stay. The barman in the restaurant was the sole barman and waiter. He managed to stay cool and calm despite being very busy with at least twenty guests. It’s not an easy thing to stay calm and polite when you’re under pressure but he managed it. Breakfast waiter was very polite.
Your reception bods were super and the lady who looked after us at breakfast was lovely. Nothing to complain about! Very convenient for the Kelvingrove Art Gallery where I’ve been a few times (it was a lovely sunny day for a walk in Kelvingrove Park).
