A Very pleasant interlude with our travels. Was Marvellous to have enough tea/coffee for evening and morning! Definitely the night manager very helpful with our bathroom door issue.
“Short and sweet”Reviewed 27 September 2013
Can only review on what we saw as it was a whistle stop stay, Went to reception after being quoted some obscene prices from hotels elsewhere and were offered B&B double room ensuite at a very reasonable price and took it, Lovely receptionist, got checked in very quick and headed over the road to the guest house, room 1. Room was adequate, very clean and tidy and well kept. Nice to see, Missed breakfast as we slept in……… All in all a good stay and will be back.

Very good accommodation, excellent staff that know their role and are very approachable and friendly.
The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and have everything you need for a few days’ stay at a hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers. Many restaurants can be found nearby, while the hotel is close to the university of Glasgow.
Rates everything outstanding.
…Accueil très sympathique dans un établissement qui a conservé son âme…
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, good choice range in breakfast, everything fresh and well stocked. A very friendly, well-run hotel. Thank you!
The Argyll is not a fancy hotel, but it is very comfortable and clean and the price is quite reasonable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, were happy to give us directions and to store our bags for the day after we checked out. The location is absolutely perfect for spending the day in the beautiful Kelvingrove Park and the museums there and at Glasgow University.
“Great budget hotel”Reviewed 21 May 2013
Stayed one night here and no complaints at all. Clean, friendly staff (especially at breakfast), good brekkie, great location. Park, art gallery, bus links, good restaurants (try Mother India for a top notch curry) and close to town. Bed comfy and a good nights sleep. Would definitely stay sgain.

A very pleasant interlude with our travels – was marvellous to have enough tea/coffee for evening and morning. When bedroom door got locked by accident, they worked it out quickly. Can definitely recommend the night porter – very helpful with the issue.
