Very comfortable bed with nice decor in the room. Bathroom was very clean with a good shower. Really enjoyed the breakfast, excellent quality. Nice hotel in a good location.
Really good breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
Very good position. Friendly staff and facilities simple, but good. Good arrangement for parking on the street if hotel carpark is full which was not too expensive. Unlike some city hotels which just leave you to fend for yourself.
It was a nice hotel and I will tell anyone who looks for a traditional hotel to take a look at your homepage. Staff was nice and breakfast was great.
“Weekend Break”Reviewed 30 September 2013
Room was nice, clean, staff were friendly and helpful, ideally situated for many of Glasgow’s top attractions, great value for money, Sutherland’s restaurant ideal for a short stay, hearty breakfasts,
We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was cozy and the staff friendly. We requested vegan breakfast and were delighted with the excellent food we were provided–they even checked the ingredients on the potato scones and veg sausages to make sure they were vegan for us. The vegan full scottish was delicious! We really appreciate how accommodating everyone was to us This hotel is located at the West End Sauchiehall area and it is a terrific spot to check out this side of town. The Kelvingrove is just a minute or two walk away and there are lots of cozy, inviting pubs and restaurants all around the area.
Excellent! Delighted with room, price, excellent breakfast, and very friendly/helpful staff. My kind of hotel (although putting a Macdonald in the Campbell room beside a picture of the Glencoe massacre did raise a smile!). Would definitely recommend.
“Great value for money”Reviewed 17 February 2013
Needed a fairly last minute room for an interview at Glasgow Medical School. Booked online and wasn’t disappointed, especially considering the price. Comfortable, well equipped room plus a really fantastic breakfast for less than you pay for a travelodge. Plus the staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

The staff was very welcoming and extremely helpful and knowledgable. Their kindness was so appreciated. I had one of my favorite nights in Glasgow at the hotel bar, whose bartender was so kind and charming, recommending local scotch whiskeys. There were also Glasgow locals at the bar, playing live music, and we had a great time singing along.
The location was excellent. Good breakfast. Bath and shower good, overall a well furnished bedroom.
