Overseas Family History Societies, Clan & Family Associations and anyone with an interest in Scots at home and abroad, are invited to take part in the Exhibition and Lecture series. If you’re part of the Scottish Diaspora, or if you would like to discover more about family records in Scotland and overseas then join us for a worldwide celebration of Scots Genealogy, Family History and Heraldry with a major exhibition, lectures, historic walks and visits and much more!
The Festival is themed geographically by days:
• Day 1 – Tuesday 21 July 2009 – The Americas
• Day 2 – Wednesday 22 July 2009 – Australia and New Zealand
• Day 3 – Thursday 23 July 2009 – The British Empire (India, Asia, the Caribbean etc.)
• Day 4 – Friday 24 July 2009 – Europe and Russia
